A Suwon studio for people who keep wage files honest
Datavirtu began when three internal auditors realized most payroll training stopped at theory. We built a place where the financial auditing app is the classroom — and Korea’s wage rules are the syllabus.
Mission
We help finance and HR control teams administer payroll audits with the same calm they bring to a month-end close. That means fewer heroic fire drills and more documented sampling, clear exception ownership, and findings that stand up when an external reviewer asks “show me why.”
Our work stays rooted in Gyeonggi-do: local employer patterns, bilingual workpaper habits, and respect for how Korean statutory benefits show up in real ledgers.
Pedagogy
Every cohort opens with a sealed wage extract. Learners do not watch slides about sampling — they draw samples, defend them, and rewrite notes until a peer can reproduce the logic. Instructors coach live inside the audit console rather than lecturing beside it.
We grade clarity over volume. A three-line finding with a reliable source trail outranks a ten-page narrative that cannot be traced.
Community
Alumni who still trade workpapers
Graduates stay in a private circle that shares anonymized edge cases — contractor overlays, night-shift differentials, and union allowance quirks. Membership is invitation-based after a cohort completes its close pack.
Twice a year we host a quiet salon in Suwon for alumni who want to pressure-test new console releases before they hit production teams.
