Curriculum

Modules

  1. Console orientation & materiality

Map wage sources, set thresholds, and decide what “worth chasing” means for your risk appetite.

  2. Stratified sampling for Korean wages

Build strata across overtime bands, meal allowances, and night differentials using sealed practice extracts.

  3. Exception queues & aging

Triage, severity tags, and notes that separate system noise from genuine underpayment risk.

  4. Statutory cross-checks

Walkthroughs for common Korean payroll compliance flags without pretending the app replaces legal counsel.

  5. Close pack assembly

Narrative, evidence index, and residual risk statement ready for a committee audience.

  6. Mock audit committee

Timed defense of your pack with faculty playing skeptical board members.

Ji-eun spent a decade reviewing wage files for Korean manufacturers before joining Datavirtu. She still consults on multi-entity allowance maps and insists every finding cite a reproducible filter in the console.

Reviews from this studio

Week three’s overtime lab is where it clicked. I would not call the homework light — plan for two evenings a week if you still close books by day.

★★★★☆

Faculty feedback on our close pack was blunt in the best way. The Studio does not cover union negotiation strategy — nor should it — so bring that context yourself.

FAQ

Do I need the auditing app license before week one?

Lab seats are provisioned by Datavirtu for the cohort dates. Production licenses for your employer are separate and not sold here.

Is Korean language required?

Live sessions run primarily in English with Korean workpaper examples. Pure Korean delivery is available for Assurance Atelier private cohorts.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not train tax controversy or labor litigation strategy. If your issue is already in dispute with authorities, you need counsel — the Studio teaches administration and documentation, not advocacy.

Can we bring our own wage file?

Only inside Assurance Atelier with a signed data-handling addendum. Standard Studio cohorts use sealed anonymized extracts.
